Crowded mostly... No much activity other than praying .. The church is beautiful... There's the old church behind the new one... Those interested in architecture can visit!

One must go inside the church to see how beautiful it is.

“Popular church where people visit irrespective of caste”
Reviewed 3 July 2016

St. Andrew Basilica located on the shores of Arabian sea near Alappuzha is a 16th Century church established by the Portuguese which was renovated and now it is a popular pilgrim center. The architectural excellence of the church and the tranquil atmosphere surrounding the church is worth mentioning. It is one of the 3 Roman Catholic Latin Basilica's in Kerala.

“A special temple for Snakes... epics tell it is a part of the Khandava vana”
Reviewed 28 April 2016

Away from the crowd...amidst a jungle...under the shadows...u can worship Nagaraja, Nagayakshi and Nagathans. A temple totally devoted to Snake. Recall how our ancestors love nature and all the creatures in the universe. This place is an example of our nature loving predecessors.
