The resort is beautifully built. Rooms had all the required amenities. A very photogenic place with such great backdrops. The location was a bit tooo inwards from the market. But the access to the backwaters makes up for it. They also provide boat rides in backwaters...... it didnot live upto our expectations.
Dinner and breakfast was very very disappointing.
You donot expect such from a resort of this scale.
However the staff is very very polite. Hospitality at best.

I was at Alleppey on a short visit. At short notice we called the Uday Backwater Resort for Dinner for a group of 11 Pax. The booking was taken by Mr. Nishal . To our pleasant surprise the buffet dinner was arranged meticulously and was well laid out on a long table with excellent hospitality. Our evening was super! Spl thanks to Abin Antony, Ananthu P Jayan and Shelin for their wonderful arrangements . The restaurant staff were extremely cordial...

Extremely cordial staff. Very nice destination, overlooking the backwaters. Well maintained resort. A definite must stay place in Allepey! They were understanding with the timings. If you're looking for a neat and clean place with a good view, this is the place for you. The stsff sre hospitable snd cordial making atrip into a holiday stress free. The people and the ambience makes a memory worthwhile. The traveller has time to breathe in the joy of time-space divide, the wealth of rejuvenation keeping the hustle bustle of cities behind. I will tell good friends of this jewel lacing the lake of serenity to ease the mind. A welcome place for family getaway. Keep up the good maintenance and grooming, keep the staff happy, that's the idea of their loyalty.
