The Greensboro Science is more than a science center - it is a zoo & an aquarium. Great experience for the money. Lots of animals and sea life. Grounds are really nice -Meerkat Cafe has good food at a reasonable price (& you can bring in outside food!)

Great place to visit!

My wife and I took our tween niece and nephew here as something to do when they visited for the summer. I honestly expected some dinky little joint with a few sad exhibits - boy, was I surprised!

This is a first-class science center and museum. It isn’t in the same class as the Smithsonian museums, but it is just one notch below, which is pretty impressive for a place the size of Greensboro.

The whole family had a great time, and I, being the science nerd of the bunch, was walking on clouds by the time it was time to leave. I highly recommend the Center: you’ll have a Smithsonian-type experience without sitting in 3 hours of DC gridlock traffic.

This was our main activity of the day after leaving Boone early to return to Raleigh. Even though we did not have children with us like most everyone else we enjoyed. The octopus had eggs! And the anaconda was ridiculously enormous. We enjoyed all the animals especially the aquarium, Laughed at the penguins and gibbons. It was a warm sunny fall day so we enjoyed walking around outside also even though we didn’t get all the way over to the main wolves and giant indicator. They had different animal talks and feedings Scheduled throughout the day but we did not make any of them, and they were also movies. Very nice facility

Went with 2 teenage boys and everyone had a good time. Wish the tree course wasn't so expensive- only complaint I really have. Outside zoo slightly disappointed because the tigers weren't there and a few other animals we wanted to see the most weren't there! But the rest was good.

I visited the Greensboro Science Center with a school group of about 100 kindergarten students. The GSC was very welcoming and well organized for accommodating a group of this size. We visited the outdoor animal exhibits first, so we could see them before the day got too hot- I recommend doing this since many of the animals like to seek refuge from the sun in the afternoon and they are more difficult to see and less active. Inside the GSC the children especially enjoyed the Aquarium and interactive exhibits.
