Very close to the main drag. Staff very friendly. Room very quaint a reminder of the good old days. Very clean and comfortable. The A/C is a bit noisy but it will freeze you out if that is what you like. The bathroom was a little small but OK. Overall a wonderful experience. For that price it is worth it.

We have stayed at this Motel for over 20 years. Great place to stay at a fair price in Gatlinburg, which is hard to find. Clean comfortable room with excellent service. New owners have worked very hard to keep up the same standards if not improved from the previous owners. We looked forward to staying here again. Motel is in walking distance to the strip, The Village and Ripley’s Aquarium.

The motel is fine, the location great, the staff was friendly, and the room what you would expect from an establishment of this category.
The only gripe I had was the air conditioning. It was so loud that I could hardly sleep, even when using ear plugs. If you don´t mind the din, or if it´s cool enough to be able to switch the a/c off during the night, you´ll be happy with the Marshall´s Creek Rest Motel. If you have a problem with a 90 decibel a/c I wouldn´t recommend it.

Clean room, let us check in early. AC was a little loud, however customer service was above average. We had accidentally left pictures from the sky lift there, and the lady at the front desk mailed them to us. Try to get that at a 5 star resort and you would be out of luck.

Our stay was only one night. The outside looked intimidating but the inside was very clean and updated. However wished location was closer to town than expected. The owner was very friendly. There was another hotel behind us that you opened your window to. Sufficient for a clean nights stay.
