There are some issues with this property, but overall it was a really nice stay. Of course, this was winter (12/26-12/30), so these comments go towards that time frame only.
First off, someone should provide the unit number, not just the unit name. Garmin maps have been updated to the point, that it would have been easier to find it (2124 Elk View Way) vs. just "Spur of the Moment". The mgt company was supposed to text me my door code to get in, but that never happened. I spent multiple times on the phone before I could get in....grrrr.
The parking on the gravel road was muddy next to this unit. Backing in to load in was not great if you don't have 4-wheel drive. Gravel spews everywhere when you pull out from the "driveway" when it is wet. There is construction on this road as well (trailor and portolet). This is not really a cul-de-sac as I am used to, so parking is interesting when the other units have guests.
The unit was really esthetically pleasing, but the hard surfaces make it very loud. Every creak can be heard in the bedrooms, if you are in the kitchen/den areas upstairs. During winter, it is hot upstairs and cold downstairs given the configuration.
The shower in the master was amazing, but given it was winter and it was on the outside wall....it was really cold. Whomever poured the pan in the shower did not slope it well, so you step into a pool of cold water from the previous shower to get to the goal....yuck. The master bedroom sink was a slow drainer (and they tell you so), so be prepared to clean up tooth paste residue. The master toilet closet was extremely cold (no heat). It was kind of like and outhouse inhouse.
The outside back deck was really nice, as was the hot tub. However, depending which was the wind blows, you will smell septic gas..... not appealing to stay in there too long.
This unit was fully equipped and was very clean. The only thing that would have made this better would be quality paper products. Bring your own TP and paper towels, as their's are hard. The fireplaces, pool table and foosball table and multiple tv's were really nice touches, and we used them quite a bit.
Given what we paid for that stay (premium season from what they told me), I would not stay at that particular property again. It was nice, but there must be something better for that kind of money. I would only recommend this property for a couple. Our group was four.
