Our guide was very nice and shared plenty of information about the canyon. Took photos for us without hesitation. Restrooms on the grounds and plenty of parking. Tickets are required so call ahead of time to schedule a tour.

Visited Antelope Canyon with kens tours which is one of the 2 available providers. It is located on Navajo tribal land and you are required to have a guide provided by an approved Navajo provider. I believe the majority of the guides are Navajo decent. That is just an observation. Our guide was very informative and very skilled at setting up cameras and phone to take the best possible pictures. The facilities at the site were very good. Washrooms are available as well as a gift shop. You can purchase professional photos if you are so inclined. They are reasonably priced in my opinion. They appear to be a very responsible tour operator as they are limiting the total number of visitors per day to provide the best experience reasonably possible. The facility and parking are at the sight of Lower Antelope Canyon and it’s just a short walk to the canyon. Looking at it from the top it just looks like a fairly insignificant crack in the ground. No indication as to how spectacular it is once you are on the canyon bottom. The stairs and ladders are in good order and should not be an impediment for anyone who is reasonably mobile. Great place, great tour operator.

Visited Lower Antelope Canyon with my husband and absolutely loved it. The Canyon is incredibly beautiful and every corner you turn there something more interesting and beautiful to see. We didn’t have a tour reservation bc I waited too long to book online. We decided to go there anyway and try to get a tour spot in the event someone else cancelled. I’m glad we did! They have an unofficial stand by list and we easily secured a spot on the next tour. Apparently people arrive late all the time bc the Canyon is on a reservation and they don’t follow Arizona’s daylight savings time change. It was a bit confusing bc we left the hotel one time and arrived at the canyon, 10 mins away, in a different time zone. While we waited the 20 mins for our tour to start, I asked for recommendations from one of the staff member, Connor. He was very nice and showed me the map of Page and all the places to go and photograph after our tour, and also told us where to go eat. Our tour guide Ro was amazing and super attentive. He told us the history of the canyon and helped us take the best photos. On many occasions he offered to take a photo of me and my husband. He played his flute several times during the tour which was cool. Tour lasted about 1.5 hrs. There are some steep stairs and tight places to get into, but nothing too difficult. Initially was very crowded with the other tour groups but eventually the groups dispersed and there was more room to take photos. Definitely recommend this tour! Arrive early to check in and pay attention to the time change. Go to the bathroom prior and take a water bottle on the tour.

We'd seen pictures of the canyon, but it still amazed us in person. We booked a month or so in advance due to the Spring Break time frame of our visit. We got a bit turned around in Page and arrived a few minutes later than planned, but still before our tour time. They recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to tour time. The tours were completely sold out for the day. There was a LONG line of people who were basically "stand by" in case of no-shows. We literally got there just before they gave away our spots. Our guide walked us to the start point in just a few minutes and then we descended into the canyon. There are some stairs (some steep) but nothing too difficult. We were on a 1pm tour on a sunny day, but still there were none of the "light beams" that are often seen in photos. I believe the Upper canyon is more known for this, but we chose the lower. Our guide was ok, but she seemed a bit surly. She obviously does tour after tour all day long and it showed. She pointed some things out, but was not very friendly or enthusiastic. Kinda like, here is this and that, now let's move on. Some guides were a bit chippy with each other if they felt they were moving through too slowly also. We observed several other guides really sharing lots of good information and interacting with their guests, so I believe we just drew the short straw as it were.

This was truly an amazing site. Don’t leave Arizona without seeing it. It takes about an hour to do the tour and you should book it in advance. The tour guide was friendly and pointed out where to take those perfect photos! Side note : they only have out houses at the place you pick up the tour so if that bothers you then plan appropriately. The canyon is so unique and you will not be disappointed !
