We we in search of a good hearty meal and found Big John’s! Looked like it was an old gas station back in the day and thank goodness it’s a bbq place! The smell and the smoker grabbed us as we drove past it- did a quick u and parked! Parking is hard - be patient!
We had the platter of samples and I had my search of ribs end there! It was so tender and juicy and just a squirt of their sauce I was done fir the day! The entire plate of sausage and brisket and shredded chicken was also perfectly smoked and cleaned off the plate. It came with beans and slaw. If you’re hungry I’d recommend two platters to share - ours only had two ribs and that was NOT enough!!!
Fun place to be with peanut casings all over the floor, watching cars go by and just sitting by a “driveway “ with like minded meat people was good!
Friendly servers - like friendly - stopped to keep checking on you! Be ready to share your table with others to talk about meat and your travels !

As good as it gets with pork, chicken, brisket, hot links, and baby back ribs. Sides of cole slaw, potato salad, and beans. If you can’t decide, just get the sampler. Popular spot but servers are efficient and even though there was a big line when we arrived, we were in and out in an hour. Great family-friendly place with buckets of peanuts on the tables.

What a great place. Super good bbq meal. Band on the patoi. Fast service. Very happy with this place, and would recommend.

Highly recommend the sampler. Meat is smoked to perfection, not fatty. Their bbq sauce is very tasty. Don’t get scared by the crowds in or out. Put your name down. They move tables fast.
