Some of the most wonderful and breathtaking views I have ever seen. We took Kenn’s tour which was very easy to access.

Antelope Canyon is the most famous of the narrow slot canyons giving for a most magical walk though the canyon interior. Our walk was through the Lower Antelope Canyon - less dramatic than the Upper Canyon but with greater light, easier access within and possibly less people in the confines of a small natural space. That being said, this is a very popular 'attraction' and you will be part of a large crowd ( since this is how the tour company operates ). We booked with Ken's Tours one day ahead - there were people standing in a reserve line waiting for cancellations so book ahead. The registration building and 'visitor centre' is quite unattractive in view of it's surroundings and much more could be done to enhance the overall experience from checking in to meeting with your group en-masse to walking to the canyon. However, when you enter and descend into the canyon all minor misdemeanours on part of the Tour company are forgotten and you will marvel at what you see around you. The beauty of the canyon cannot be denied and photographs do not serve it justice - you do have to see it for yourself. Our guide - Marshall - was excellent with photography tips and how to get the perfect canyon picture. Further, he also exercised great group control - both in front of us and behind - allowing for many pictures of the canyon without other tourists in our pictures ( thank you Marshall ) I took around 190 pictures and only a handful had other folk in them. I have attached a pic of some of the group so you can see how many people will be with you. Overall, a fair day out experiencing a wonderful natural wonder. With greater control of the numbers in the canyon at a given time this good experience could be a great one. Like other reviews have said, I would pay twice as much to see half as many people down there - it really is that good.

Dee was a great guide on our photo shoot into the canyon. She gave us great tips on shooting locations and assisted in moving the other tourists out of our shot.

The Beauty of the walk is undeniable. The commercialism of it also undeniable. No more than two feet between the you and the person in front of you and the person behind you and people coming the other way just as thick. It is such a shame because the place seems almost magical. The magic is lost when you feel that you are in a line at Disneyland. Make sure you book in advance because 1000 people have the same idea as you do on the same day as you do. This experience is an absolute non-stop photo opportunity. I bet in the 45 minutes we were in there that over 5000 photos were taken. The tour guides actually take your cameras and change the settings and take the photos for you to make sure that you get the perfect shots of "Lincoln's profile or Washington's profile or the profile of a bear..." I would pay twice as much to have half as many people in there at one time.

We had an amazing trip to Antelope Canyon and this is no doubt the paradise for photography lovers! Highly recommend the AntelopeCanyon.com where the tour guide (Lanet) not only organize the whole tour very well and clean away the ppl in front and behind you for you to take photos without crowds, but also these professional tour guides will teach you how to take photo from which angle to capture those amazing lines and colours of the canyon!! Such a rewarding photography trip!
