Great Location

I really liked the fact that the hotel front desk staff set the bar high by emailing days before my arrival to welcome me and ask if there was anything I needed. That was a nice touch that most hotels do not do. The location was great. While our stay was short, when an issue came up, the hotel management went above and beyond to remedy it. I thought that was really, really nice and appreciated. I liked the spirit of the management staff. They are customer oriented. Very focused on customer satisfaction. The room space is small, but most rooms in NYC tend to be small, but this hotel fits everything you need in the small space. View wasn't the bridge, we had a view of another wall. But light was sufficient. Bathroom space was prefect. Facility was clean and lobby areas was nicely maintained. We had brunch at the on premise restaurant and again the service was excellent and the food was really good. I would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean everything was very neat didn’t like that it doesn’t have a microwave other than that the room was perfect , service was very good everyone was very helpful also it is a great location right downtown by the bridge .

I’ve stayed at this hotel ten times. It’s new, so in great shape and very well appointed. The friendliest and most helpful staff. Close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, subway lines. I highly recommend for short or long stays. They bring in fresh NY bagels for the free breakfast! Note that it is NY, so the rooms are nice but not large.

Christmas in Brooklyn at the last minute! We found ourselves in a bit of a pinch! Our daughter arrived but her luggage did. not! We were scheduled to drive to our country house but could not leave Brooklyn as her luggage was in transit so we needed a quick solution and The Hampton accommodated us in a flash with ease and friendliness!Kudos to the staff !

It was a nice stay overall, breakfast was very good, many options to choose from. Most staff were very nice except for out last night. A young girl at front office was very rude when we asked her for water (They give complimentary water) This was out first time asking for water (Didn't know they had complimentary water until last day). In a very rude way she said no more water and told her co-worker (We need to stop giving people water)Other than that everything was nice. The restaurant food was delicious we ordered from them the first night, the lady working there is veryyy nice.

As it pertains to the water bottles, while providing complimentary water is not a brand standard, we will at times provide a complimentary bottle to a parched traveler should they inquire with our friendly Front Office Team; they always try to do everything they can to ensure guest satisfaction. That being said, I am very apologetic that you heard negative comments from our team about the fervency in which we were extending this good-hearted amenity, and that this left you with a negative impression. Perfect to get to the City or any location in Brooklyn. All the shopping you want to do is in walking distance from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant located inside the hotel.
