We booked this hotel to be near Manhattan to get into the city easily and also to be able to get to Long Island to visit friends. The proximity to the subways and major highways made this an ideal location. I found a good rate on SnapTravel and there was reasonable parking one block over.
Check-in was a breeze and we were easily able to get up to our room. The room was mostly taken up by the king bed. There was also a desk, two side tables, an HDTV with drawers underneath, and a sizable closet. The bathroom had a decent sized countertop with some under storage and a glass enclosed shower.
The stay overall was good. The central air conditioning and blackout curtains made for a good night’s sleep. There is a Starbucks in the lobby to get a quick cup of coffee.
The only slight negatives were that my key demagnetized and the shower was a bit on the small side, but nothing that would keep me from recommending this hotel to others or staying there again.
While in the area, check out the City Point building featuring the DeKalb Market in the basement, full of good local food options.

While this hotel is close to shopping and attractions it is very tired, loud air conditioning, poor lighting, water leak in our room, only refrigerators in rooms with 01. Our first room air con was broken, moved across hall - smaller room no fridge so asked why. Fridge was brought to room but no where to safely put it without bumping into it. Complained stating we thought better of Sheraton and advised not all Sheraton’s are the same! Obviously happy to take star rating and appropriate money but hotel is not at four star level.

Room Tip: Rooms x01 are slightly larger and have refrigerators

I think this hotel is really a three star hotel. Rooms are small. The hotel didn’t offer a refrigerator. The same breakfast was served two days in a row. The bagels were hard.
I did like the pool and jacuzzi. I like the shower. The stores are within walking distance. Old navy is next door. Macy’s is at the end of the block. Plenty of good food within walking distance. One particular soul food carribean restaurant I loved was called “The soul spot.”
Staff was very friendly.

If you are going to base yourself in Brooklyn then this hotel is ideally place for all the amenities including access to the Metro.

The rooms are spacious for a New York hotel and are kept clean, the staff are helpful and friendly.

The hotel restaurant is mainly Italian, the food is good and at a reasonable price

The bar staff are also friendly and very helpful

If you do not want to dine in the hotel then try the food hall in the shopping centre which is only one street away the is an amazing choice including a Kats express, the food is very good and will not cost a fortune

We arrived late, the valet was courteous, and the check in was seamless. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. Water pressure was not great in the morning, but it was the 24th floor, completely understandable in NY. All of the staff was great, unfortuantely I had ordered breakfast and they ran out of yogurt so they substituted a fruit bowl, but there was no communication on that nor confirmation that that was ok. Other than that minor detail everything else was great!

Room Tip: Higher floors have less reliable water pressure.
