There are several fancier and more expensive kosher restaurants in this part of Brooklyn, but you will be hard pressed to find better food. My wife and I have been going here for 20 years, and the quality of the food has been consistently high. That also goes for the appetizers and side dishes.

The food is Israeli style, tasty but not too spicy. The menu choices are limited, but the basics are there. Prices are moderate. The beef kabob is my favorite.

The place is small but clean and the decor is very simple. Its all about the food.

Simply incredible food. Fresh ingredients and ever so tasty. It is no wonder this restaurant is usually crowded. They are open later than most, so we went after 10pm on a Monday and were able to easily get a table. This is the third or fourth time we came here and were never disappointed. The food is first rate and the service the friendliest around. IMO this is the best kosher grilled meat restaurant in NY and that includes the city. Prices are reasonable too.
The only caveat is that the restaurant is small and kind of cramped. The small store they took over next door as an addition alleviates this somewhat, but for the food, definitely worth it.

Food is very good. Service is ok. The ambience is lacking. The eating area is tight and has fluorescent lighting, less like the upscale dimly light restaurant that is similarly priced.
Having said that, the food really is tasty!!!! Chicken soup is the best I have ever had.

It is easy to find a kosher restaurant in Brooklyn, but this one is really outstanding in service and food quality. We really enjoyed the grilled meats and all the rest that comes with it. A little hard to find though - on a side street. Also a bit pricey - prime rib steak costs $36, but, on the other hand, it is much bigger than the average steak served in other places. Really recommend!
