What a great surprise, just a mile and a half from my house! This little Bistro is a fantastic find in Felida. Highly recommend. You need to get there early like we did. We arrived around 4:30 PM and were able to get seated right away. An hour later and you'd be waiting for twenty minutes or more.
The food was outside and my burger was cooked to perfection. The wife had the fish tacos which were perfect as well.
We've been living here in Salmon Creek for over a year now and hadn't found this 'til now. I wish we'd found it sooner so that we would've been enjoying it more. Well, you can't live in the past. We'll become regular now.

You're certain to run into somebody you know at Farrar's. This place doubles as the local community center. Great food served by very nice people. Nice atmosphere, very chill. The have both a bar and a restaurant. So glad this restaurant is here.

Stopped I. With my business associates for an early dinner. Place was already packed but we were seated immediately. Great menu, but clearly the MAC and cheese is a big favorite here. I had a house salad and the chicken and it was delicious. Good beers on tap too. Fun vibe, friendly service and a good menu.

Farrar's is a neighborhood restaurant, which has a substantial bar scene, an active happy hour, and packed dining areas. There is really no competition in the immediate area of suburban homes, which I assume supports its active life style. When we were there, the customers consisted of couples, families with children, business people. If there is a wait, the staff asks if they can bring you a drink. It is a very accommodating place.

In a recent visit, we started off with well prepared calamari, and Manhattans, with our preference of bourbon- let's say, if we had had a second we would not have been able to stand. The menu is comfort food writ large--we had a terrific meatloaf (in taste and quantity),and a chicken pot pie served in a cast iron skillet--that was very nicely prepared. They have a half pound angus burger that seemed to be popular, seeing so many coming out the kitchen. And they have beer specials on top of their regular brews. It is great being able to take advantage of the many local beers being produced in the Willamette Valley area.

The wait staff is hyper active in accommodating the continuing crowd.

Regarding reservations per the item below--I believe they take them for parties of 6 or more.

Went for my birthday dinner gift on 11/26 after wanting to try it for a long time. Cool vibe outside, parking lot packed. Inside, only a few diners at 7p. Bar area must have been full. Dining area was dark and bare feeling. Just rusty aluminum siding and original reclaimed wood. Nice menu, small bites, entrees, evening special and interesting local plates. I had salmon with roasted veggies and polenta, mom had special enchilada, with Spanish rice, black beans. Nice portions, good flavors, kinda pricey, waitstaff helpful. Large overflow group from bar seated near us, waitstaff accidentally dropped order of Calimari in a gentleman's lap. Loud, dark-ish, no art or other ambience elements. Not sure I will go back soon unless it is for the patio/pub experience.
