Loved our recent stay at the Marshall House. A charming hotel that felt more like a B & B with a great location. The staff did an outstanding job & the breakfast was wonderful. Will recommend to friends.

The place is grand and has an interesting history (with good ghost stories). Rooms and halls had tremendously high ceilings, but could have been a little nicer. It's a bit pricey, but most decent places in the area are. The evening wine and cheese complimentary spread was a nice touch, but the restaurant closes too early and the breakfast is nothing special. There is a prevailing antebellum feeling to the hotel, but this is historic Savannah we're talking about (not uncommon to the area). Glad enough that we stayed there one night, but probably not coming back.

The most comfortable bed on our road trip! Nice nice staff! Always ready to help. Really the best!

Room Tip: We had a king size bed. So comfortable!

The Marshall House was very charming. We pulled up to the front of the hotel and were immediately greeted by the welcoming valet. The front desk staff were always extremely friendly, happy, and very helpful. We used the valet parking the first day and then choose to park in the garage ourselves because it was a bit cheaper to park yourself. The parking garage is just around the corner from the hotel. The hotel had a wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning and there was also wine and cheese in the lobby every night. The room was a nice size and was clean and comfortable. This is a historic building and is old so there is plenty of character throughout the hotel. The bathroom was a bit older styled but it fit the with the old charm of the hotel, and worked fine. The location of the hotel was great because you were within easy walking distance of many of the parks, restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. If I visit Savannah again I would definitely stay here!

The Marshall house fulfilled all our wishes for a hotel in the Savannah historic district. Centrally located, charming comfortable bedrooms and public rooms, delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Most everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.
