My wife and I were able to spend a couple of nights at the President's Quarters during a vacation in the low country. Our room on the fourth floor was spacious and well appointed. The check-in staff greeted us warmly and offered helpful advice about things to do and see near the inn.
Breakfast was provided on the premises with either a continental option (yogurt, granola, muffin, fruit) or a rotating full breakfast option. We chose the continental option and found it was both tasty and filling.
One couldn't ask for a better location. Just a few bocks to the north was the main business/shopping district and river front. Going south on could enjoy the large historic district with its wonderful architecture and squares with gardens, fountains and statues.
Why four stars and not five? At night the inn/restaurant was quite noisy. However it did quiet down sometime between 10 and 11 PM. My wife also found the bed to too much on the firm side. Be aware that while parking is provided, there are limited spaces.
Would I recommend staying there? Yes!More
