I received an e-mail to check in on line and to choose my room - - I did this and agreed to the recommendation to accept Rm 314. This was in keeping with my request to be as near to the elevator as possible. Checking in we were not recognized as Hilton Honors members and did not initially receive our two bottles of water. I asked for them and got them immediately though. I got our keys and were joined in the elevator by a young man also going to the third floor. Imagine all of our surprises when I went to Rm 314 and put the key into the reader and the young man asked (jokingly) if we were joining him in his room. We had been switched to Rm 320. Embarrassed to say the least - - why were we not told of the room switch? I realize that there is a caveat on the e-mail page that rooms could be switched but I figured I'd be told. Internet wouldn't stay connected on the balcony.

Excellent hotel and very reasonable prices. Nice rooms, great pool, great location right on Bay street with easy walking to all of the Savannah attractions. Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking and cafe in lobby.

Just overall not a good visit. The wait staff at breakfast all looked sloppy and had attitudes ... The food was marginal and not hot. The front desk folks were ok but looked like they had been there all night and had better things to do then help me .....

This hotel is centrally located, and has a great staff. Ed, the concierge, had all kinds of great info and was able to book on two different tours. From the front desk to the breakfast wait staff: they were all very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Hotel staff was very helpful in planning a walking trip around the historic parts of the city and also recommending great places to eat. We would love to stay here again. The room was immaculate. The only concern we had was upon checkout. The room invoice was not placed under the door during the evening as scheduled, so our very routine checkout process waited in a line with the problematic invoices needing additional help..
