I have spent a lot of time in the middle-east and the food here is the real deal. The owners are proud of the food they serve and want you to come back. The building’s inside and outside are not the most pleasant of view, but the food is the true star here.

Being new to Savannah I was told by many that THIS was the place to go for great middle eastern food. The owners are delightful and engaging. I ordered my curried chicken wrap/Gyro to go as I only live 3 blocks away. I got into my truck.....took 1 bite and drove off. As soon as I realized how AMAZINGLY delicious it was......I pulled over and finished it. I couldn't even go the few blocks to my place. It was THAT good. Don't pass up this great secret gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside.....nor the inside (very small and just a few tables) but the food is the best I've had.

Very friendly owner/ manager and although it's very tight inside the food was great! You can't miss the chicken curry platter. Sooo good! We got take out and made a picnic of it at Forsyth park!

Get the lamb and avoid the chicken. If authenticity is important to you, don't bother. The entire place could use a good cleaning.

The chicken gyro was dry and flavorless, and came with a sad side of crinkle fries and a can of soda. The pita was stale and store bought. Earlier reviews' praises of the food's freshness were contradicted by the giant cans of eggplant and chickpeas. Merchandise available for purchase included a bag of halal marshmallows that were brown and crunchy from too much shelf time.

The lamb was delicious. Seared crunch, nicely seasoned, and moist.

No shawarma or doner. So much for authenticity.

Great experience here! Excellent food as we had the falafel and lamb platters that come with pita bread, hummus, and baba ganoughe. All of the food was fabulous and fresh. We ended with baklava which is the best I've ever had. Will be going back just for that to take home.

The owner was incredibly kind and spent a few minutes getting to know our family. He has owned the business here in Savannah for 17 years and you can tell he has established a great following. As has been stated this is more of a lunch/takeout place as there is not much room for seating.
