1-30-18 2:15pm Went here since we tried to go to Mrs. Wilkes and that restaurant was closed for the month of January. We saw that this was only 2 blocks away so we left our cars where we parked them and walked over. We were a party of 6 and they seated us almost immediately. Our waiter "Beau" or "Bo" was very friendly and outgoing and helpful to us regarding our choices. My husband and I ordered one of the specials for the day - a garlic flavored hamburger with 1/2 pork and 1/2 ground round with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and choice of one side. It was delivered fairly fast and was delicious. Service was wonderful all around. I am pretty picky about giving a 5 star review for any place so that's why I rated it a four - absolutely no complaints about this place and our 4 other friends agree with this review.

I've eaten here once before, a few years ago. Savannah is a good stopping point for trips between south Florida and the DC area. The Crystal Beer Parlor does not offer parking but there is street parking all around (this place is in the middle of a residential neighborhood). I got fried shrimp which was fantastic. Cole slaw was good, too. Wash everything down with a craft beer or glass of wine.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit! We DO have parking, off-street, right behind the building. Locals say our fried shrimp is the best in town. Come back and see us again soon! Many thanks!

Restaurant recommended by B&B and so good that we ended up eating here 3 times on recent trip to Savannah. We were seated immediately in comfortable booth in bar area for late lunch. One of us had flounder dinner and the other, the Fried Oyster sandwich. We shared a cup of Brunswich stew...all so good that we returned next day for lunch of Brunswich stew, and later for dinner of flounder and shrimp and grits. Everything delicious. Also tried several great local beers: one a Praline; the other a Stout There was a short wait to be seated at dinner, but worth the wait.

This was a really cool place recommended by our Segway tour guide! It was really great food and the server was amazing! The fried flounder sandwich was perfect and I would love to have it again the next time we are in town.

Enjoyed the Brunswick stew, first time. Great waitress. Outside the historic district center but totally worth. Pecan pie to die for!
