Very interesting tour. Nice to know that the Girl Scouts themselves saved it from destruction and are the owners.

I've never been involved with the GS but found this to be an interesting house and enjoyed learning about J. Low. This is a worthwhile place to visit. However, like some other reviewers, I did feel a little bit rushed, and the guide seemed a bit tired. This is understandable given the numbers of visitors, especially this year, but it is unfortunate. My recommendation would be to see the house in the morning, perhaps just after it opens, when things may be less busy.

The Juliette Gordon Lowe house is beautiful not just for scouts and old former scouts but for anyone interested in life during the period. Staff was outstanding and it was nice to see the Girl Scouts workin in the lovely gift shop.

The house is not as well-maintained as her adult home, but it was interesting and fun.
