Tons of places to shop or eat. Merchants are friendly. The walk down the river is peaceful. If you're a fan of alcohol, every other store is a bar. But it is still family friendly.
We spent a whole day exploring river street and all the shops and restaraunts it has to offer. Will definitely visit again!

River street is beautiful with the original stone streets (watch your speed), buildings, boats, and the historical buildings. The only down fall to River Street are the restaurants. Every place offers the same food, just a different name.
The cobblestone streets of Savanna are amazing with the storefronts all decorated to bring in all the shoppers for a fascinating journey into a different time, the fresh fish and markets, the smells drift through the air. If you like shopping and sea food this is an adventure you will love. Don't forget the parks during your trip!
