We stayed here to attend an event at the 1st Mariner's Center. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Very easy to get to, it is next door to Camden Yards but so are many other big hotels in the area. There is valet parking ($29, inflated for the Ravens/Texans game, I think), but is was convenient and we did not wait more than 10 min for our car.
We upgraded to a bigger room and it was worth it. Granite wet bar, with fridge and micro and extra sink. Huge room with two beds and a sitting area. Sink outside of the shower/wc made getting ready very easy. The hotel was extremely clean and very new feeling. Much nicer than your average Hampton Inn.
The breakfast was pretty good, again, better than average. There were a lot of people there, but it did not feel crowded.
We had our 6 year old with us and did use the pool and hot tub. The pool is very small, but did the trick. The hottub was hot and clean.
I would highly recommend this hotel for the price and for the location and modern feel. We will be back!

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view

Stayed here for an impromptu date night using hilton points. Great little hotel, we had a beautiful suite with a comfy bed, great breakfast in the morning. Very conveniently located. A gem!

It was our first time in Baltimore. The location of this hotel is perfect if you are there for a visit to Camden Yards. In terms of visiting the Inner Harbor, it is only perfect if you plan to do a lot of walking to get there as it is located about 7 blocks (nearly a mile) from the Inner Harbor. I knew this in advance and we didn't mind the walk even though it was a bit chilly when we were there. There is the Charm City Circulator which is a free bus that picks up around the corner and will take you around Baltimore. We took it back one night and it was good since it was cold but I was a little uncomfortable in some of the areas we picked up in. Otherwise, if you don't want the walk, plan to pay for a taxi.

The breakfast was fine, average and what you can expect by most Hampton Inn standards. Not quite as much variety as I have seen at other Hampton Inns and no gluten-free cereal option at breakfast which was a disappointment to my daughter.

There was popcorn in the lobby in the afternoon and evening which was nice. Bottled water is cheaper out of the vending machine on the floor by your room vs the store in the lobby.

There is a small indoor pool which was pretty much empty while we were there.

The room we had was lovely. It was large and very clean. We was well appointed and comfortable. Our view was not so great as we overlooked a power station, but in a city sometimes you get what you get. It was better than our first room which we requested to be moved from since it was on a lower level with a view of the alley behind Pickles Pub next door. We had requested to be moved to a room in the front with a view of Camden Yards; however, they were not available as we were there the weekend of the unveiling of the Brooks Robinson statute (which is located directly in front of the hotel).

In terms of restaurants, there were a few but depending on what you like there was not a tremendous variety in the immediate block; you are better off going near the Inner Harbor for a great restaurant selection. The staff was not overly helpful in this area, I asked a couple of different people for suggestions and they did not make a recommendation. When I asked about a specific restaurant I was told "sure, that would be a good option".

It was a fun weekend in Baltiimore, we enjoyed the hotel and we enjoyed the city.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking Camden Yards, one of the higher floors would get less street noise.

My wife and I stayed here when she ran in the B-more marathon. We were very impressed. The staff were all very courteous and nice, helping us with directions on several occasions. The room was quite spacious, and nicely appointed for this type of hotel. We are nonsmokers, but all that was available when we booked was a smoking room. We were especially impressed with how well they cleaned the room, as the smoke smell in the room was barely noticeable. The breakfast was great, and had a nice balance of healthy options for us. It was a 10-15 minute walk from inner harbor, and right next to Camden yards & M&T stadium. My only gripe is the parking. They were charging $26 for parking. I know this is common, but I still hate it when hotels tack on additional fees.

Room was ready when we arrived and they upgraded us for free (without me even asking). We had an awesome room, with an amazing view of Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium. The room was spotless, the bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to the stadiums. It's a little bit of a walk (7-10 minutes) to the Inner Harbor, but it's definitely doable. Breakfast was good. There is something for everyone at the buffett (fresh fruit, waffle maker, cereals, donuts, eggs, bacon, home fries). I would definitely stay again, especially if I'm going to a game!

Room Tip: Very close to the stadiums
