“Excelllent care!”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

Very accommodating hospital for family members of patients. In general, most all of the staff that I have came in contact with there over the years, are very happy to work there and go out of their way to help patients and their families. I'm very glad that the new cardiac tower will open soon.

“There are 2 Johns Hopkins Campuses”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

These reviews are primarily for the manicured and landscaped Hopkins Homewood Campus. Lacrosse games are held here, it is an undergraduate and graduate institution in the quaint Charles Village neighborhood of North Baltimore. It is adjacent to the Baltimore Museum of Art as well as Wyman Park, which is lovely and fairly large for a city park. The Hopkins Spring Fair is held here.

The East Baltimore Medical Campus is where the Medical School, Nursing School, most of the medical research laboratories and graduate school programs, Kennedy Krieger Hospital for Children, Wilmer Eye Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital are located, just north of the Fell's Point neighborhood of Baltimore in the area around Broadway, North Wolfe, Madison and Monument Sts. The area around the hospital used to be a ghetto but for years the institution and the city have been working to rehabilitate the area with businesses and mixed-income housing. Though it is an historical place, there is far less of a collegial feel and it is very much urban. The Eastern Market, on Monument St just east of the campus, has some good carryout places to eat.
