I was looking forward to my stay at this location as for it had great reviews and a great area. However, upon my check in with Faith, she had no interest in our stay. She clearly saw that me and my husband were from Rhode Island and didn't have any care in the world to explain any details of the hotel or any amenities it had to offer. After getting our room key I had to look for the elevator which was way in the back of the building.
I currently work at a hotel, so I know that being on the front end can be very difficult when dealing with a variety of guests. However, I was being as polite as possible and all she showed was annoyance.
It seems as though none of the staff were interested in even greeting the guests. After walking in and out of the hotel multiple times in a day, I was barely able to get eye contact or a smile.
Overall, the room and view were great. The restaurant has great food and the bartenders are super friendly.
Some tips: You should have an ATM in your lobby so the guests don't have to walk all the way over to the Radisson, Guests should be informed of any events going on in the area just in case of noise complaints.More
