October 5-7, 2018. We researched hotels at the Inner Harbor, willing to go a little upscale for a better experience. We were not disappointed. A dreamy, comfy weekend!

Strengths: 1) Location. It simply can't be beat. You're on the water, near all the shops, surrounded by friendly joggers, exercisers, tourists, walkers, weddings. It's safe and easy. 2) The building. It's a cool re-do, in brick. Airy rooms, easy parking, elegant yet casual. A perfect blend. 3) Staff. Relaxed, yet attentive. 4) Food and wine hours. Bkfst is light, but really, really easy and convenient. 5) Access. Ubers are at your doorstep in 1 minute. 6)Rooms: Ours was big, on the pier, with a water view, but providing plenty of privacy. Quiet. Nice bathrooms, comfy beds and pillows. Plenty of charging stations. Anyone can use the dollies to load and unload.
Weaknesses: 1) TV. They're big, and they're in nice cabinets. They're widescreen and they're digital. Great. But . . . and this is a big but: reception is blurry analog, and the screen size shrinks to accommodate 90s technology. Other boutique hotels provide digital, HD TV, with clear, crisp pictures. It's not an extravagance. The Inn needs to modernize this service, which travelers expect to be better. Sure, we don't come to stay in our rooms and watch TV. But travelers turn it on to get up in the morning, go to bed at night, while they are changing and getting ready, and they expect something better than some satellite package that has been downgraded to analog blurs so it can be pumped out cheaply to all rooms. It makes us feel as if we're in a nursing home. If The Inn does not improve this service, it will give future travelers a cheap impression.

Room Tip: Harbor side rooms are still very private. We wondered about this, and were happy.

This place is in the historical district, overlooking Henderson’s Wharf. Absolutely charming! As we checked in last night after a long 6 hour drive of bumper to bumper traffic, we were invited to a happy hour, that consisted of snifters of Grand Marnier or Bailey’s Irish Cream with a make your own s’mores bar! It doesn’t get any better than that!

Nice eateries, bars and stores, within walking distance. Absolutely amazing breakfast served every morning. Tea and coffee available 24/7. Special events every afternoon and evening. Afternoon wine and cheese party offered throughout the week. Service was top notch!

I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Baltimore! We will definitely be back! This is one of the nicest hotels in which I’ve ever stayed! Bonus: dog friendly! #innathenderson #notHamptonInn #baileys #baltimore #maryland

The inn at hendersons wharf is a well positioned hotel with very comfortable facilities. The service from the staff is also excellent.
There is also free parking right next door on the dockside.
Recommended.

We stayed for 1 night to visit the aquarium and have an evening in Fells Point. My husband and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the Inn at Fells Point. It is a lovely hotel and the staff could not have been more pleasant. What a nice treat the "wine down at 5:00" was with cheese and crackers. There was also a nice 10:00 pm event with Grand Marnier (sp?) and smores. We did not really partake in that because we had a wonderful dinner at Oceanaire and were too full. The breakfast in the lobby was also delightful with fresh roasted coffee, assorted fresh berries and yogurt and amazing chocolate croissants! Perfect!
