Small hotel in a great location -- right on the water in Fell's Point. Quiet, but a very short walk to the vibrant bar and restaurant scene. Occupies the 1st floor of an old wharf warehouse, with condos on top. My room was quite; bed soft and comfortable. Service friendly. Rust on iron stained my pants, gave it to the front desk in the morning and they had it ready for me that evening. Fitness center has about 8 machines (running, elliptical, bicycling) and a bunch of nautilus and was always empty when I was there. Great continental breakfast with lots of fruit; oatmeal; bagels; croissants; cereals and juices. Coffee 24 hours, plus some in your room. And as others mentioned, they hand you a bottle of wine at check-in, even asking red or white and what varietal you prefer. Highly recommend it!

Room Tip: As for a room facing the water or the interior courtyard.

This is definitely a great place to stay! You are greeted by a small, friendly staff with a bottle of wine and directed to nicely furnished, roomy accomondations. It is extremely quaint and comfortable not in an old or stuffy way but in a fresh, clean, comfy couch way. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about activities in the area, including tips on restaurants and bars. Paula directed us to a local bar for Sunday specials on a great bloody mary. Definitely take advantage of the shuttle service, then there is really no need to drive during your stay as everything is conveniently located.
TIP : No need to opt for valet parking, as the lot is just a few steps away.

Room Tip: Water front rooms are definitely more scenic with great lighting but all the rooms have great spacing.

What a beautiful hotel located in an amazing spot and the staff are welcoming. We didn't realize the hotel was only on one floor but that made it more quaint. They give you a bottle of wine at check-in which was a nice surprise! The room was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the courtyard, if you can afford it then get a water view room. It is well worth it! I would have loved waking up with the sunshine on the water. The hotel was clean, breakfast was amazing, great location. We are going to try to go back in the summer to enjoy it more, temps in the 30's when we went. Their sister property Admiral Inn isn't far away and you can enjoy some of their amentities like happy hour! OH...... and the bed was absolutely amazing! SO comfortable!!!

One word of advice to the hotel, gut room 114 and make that into a seating area for breakfast!! That is the only downfall of the hotel, you can't see the water from inside the hotel unless you have a room on that side.

The location is awesome: at the end of Fell Street right on the water. This is secluded just enough to give it that quiet peacefulness from the shops and bars which are only a 3 minute walk down Fell Street - and you definitely have lots of places to choose from in Fells. The Henderson's Wharf is the only hotel that I could find in this area that had complimentary parking which is in a lot right next door. When you add in the fact that they greet you with complimentary wine, put out an excellent breakfast spread, have really comfortable beds in nice big rooms and have a friendly staff on hand, you're bound to enjoy your stay.

Waterfront location on a cobble stone street in walking distance to fine restaurants and not far from the Inner Harbor area -- I look forward to staying at Henderson's Wharf Inn everytime I come to Baltimore. The staff have always been great; they know my name, they know the best restaurants in the area, and there has never been a busy line of people trying to get their attention. The breakfast buffet is a bonus, especially when I have a have a choice to sit alone or to sit at a real diningroom table and share a few moments with people I've never met.
