This must be our 6th and probably, best ever visit to the Bridgewater Bistro. I only went with my two children (as my wife was away on a business trip) and were seated upstairs where we enjoyed the view, linen tablecloths and warm, friendly service. We had the calamari and herring starters, followed by the Ahi and butter-nut risotto - creamy and delicious washed down with a perfect Pinot Grigio!. My son had the fish and chips and voted it the best he had ever had! We all shared the delicious creme brulee - all in all, a very pleasant evening complemented with some great service, delicious fish, wine and dessert - and as others have said, a wonderful warm ambiance that will make us return for a 7th time!

We're so glad Bridgewater is thriving! Staff are always friendly & attentive. View is spectacular but best of all? The overall ambiance is 'adult' -- jazz trio Sunday morning was delightful however their musical fare still allowed intimate dining conversation with my companion. Brunch was delicious; and they serve til 3 pm (not 2 as so many places do nowadays). Totally recommend this place for any meal; you'll likely be 'converted' to a regular.

The Thanksgiving menu provided plenty of tasty options for turkey lovers and others. The turkey and traditional sides were well-received and the salmon was done to perfection. The cranberry relish was so good that it deserves to stay on the menu past the holiday. Service was attentive, as on previous visits. If you're going to the Oregon coast, it's worth timing your trip to include a meal at this restaurant. You can count on delicious food and stunning views.

With salmon cooked to perfection, select slices of turkey led, buttery mashed potatoes, amazing squash soup, a light cranberry salad and the usual accompaniments of the holiday, we loved our dinner. The crowd was agreeable, too — families, older couples, infants, and no drama whatsoever. Arrive early to sit by the fireplace before being seated on chilly nights!

Accidentally found this place and stopped for lunch on a Friday. Had great soup and salad choices. I believe all tables have a water view. Went back on Sunday for brunch with friends and had great food again and enjoyed the musicians who were there at the time. Will be sure to return next time we are going through Astoria!
