"Average" isn't a complaint here. El Tapatio was open and serving when other restaurants couldn't get me in. The lunch menu is a familiar Tex-Mex one, platters with refried beans, rice and melted cheese. The waitress was fast and honest (answering about the fish taco, "Not gonna lie, it's from frozen fish.") so I went for a combo platter, which was fine. No reason not to eat here if you're hungry or are looking for Tex-Mex.
