I’ve stayed here quite a few times. The main reason is it’s location. You can park your car and walk just about anywhere. It’s right next to the battlefield and near a few restaurants and attractions. It’s on the more quiet end of town so if it’s quiet you want than this is the place to be. The rooms themselves are run down and need updating. For the price they charge per room you would think by now they would have started. We’ve only been in the pool once so can’t say much about that. Never did the free breakfast as Friendly's and McDonalds is across the street. The AC units shut off when you leave the room so when it’s 90+ degrees outside don’t expect to come back to comfort. It even shut off when we were sitting watching tv. Housekeeping does a good job. I have to say they work hard. It’s just the rooms that are old. It’s nice to sit out on the balcony at dusk and relax. The front desk staff is pleasant during the day. The overnight clerk though is not very friendly and locks the door and watches tv. If you need something you have to bang on the door so she can hear you. Or atleast wake her up. There’s a Best Western that’s brand new across the street. Albeit competition but looks nice. All in all we are tired of this hotel and have found that others in town are nicer and well worth the cost.

Thank you- I'm sorry we didn't fully exceed your expectations on your most recent visit. Although we aren't brand new or fancy we can guarantee a clean, comfortable room with a fantastic location at a reasonable rate. Yes- there are newer hotels in town, but you can expect to pay much more. For safety reasons, our overnight clerk does lock the office at midnight, but there is someone here in the office and available to help our guests 24 hours a day.

Only stayed for one night but it was very nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and our building was quiet. Very convenient to restaurants, shops and of course the Battlefield. We sincerely hope to return!

I can't even tell you how many years we have been going to the Quality Inn Gettysburg Battlefield. Perfect location, great staff and accommodations. The rooms are clean and comfortable, never a problem. Thanks for another perfect trip!

Room Tip: We usually stay in the pool building, easier access to the indoor pool.

First things first, the bed was excellent. I rate all venues on how well I slept in their bed. After all, that's why you're here, right? Well, I slept great! Although the property is dated, the bed was excellent. Shower pressure leaves something to be desired, and the toilet is one of those deals that just keeps going around but takes forever to actually flush. Also used the indoor pool and hot tub which were to my liking. Outdoor pool also on the property but closed for the season. Lobby staff helpful in determining a dining destination. Continental breakfast was adequate in a restored home adjacent to the hotel.

This is our hotel of choice in Gettysburg. It is so conveniently located to the battlefield, as well as the many restaurants and attractions on Steinwehr Avenue. It is also within easy walking distance of the Visitor Center and the downtown area. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast cottage starts our day on a positive note.

Thank you! We are lucky to have so many repeat guests time after time. Our Victorian Breakfast Cottage (built in 1880) is very popular with our guests.
