This campground is unbelievably close to not only Gettysburg battlefield, but the soldiers cemetery and Baltimore pike. Baltimore pike has amazing attractions like, the Jennie Wade house, Shrivers house museum, Rupp house, the Farnsworth house...the list goes on. It also has places to shop and a historic house that houses an ice cream shop. The campground is also close to the Dobbins house. The camp ground has a pool, mini golf and a playground to keep the kids happy. We liked it because we could bring our dogs. You can even bring your horse! The sites are clean and well kept, but close together. It didn't bother us, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, you may not find it here. Don't let that stop you from staying here though. The campground's location, friendly staff and the fact that it's clean, is worth it.

Quick and pleasant check in with nice level sites. Even in the pouring rain we enjoyed our stay. Great for families with children. We have two dogs and it was perfect. Second stay here - both in the rain - still great!

We are RV first timer. This RV camp is our very first camp we have stayed in. We did not plan on staying in gettysburg but somehow we just decide we want to visit the millitary park and boy it was good decision. As an amateur, pulling a large 39 ft fifth wheel always makes us feel nervous. It was nerve wrecking to drive the RV inside because the entrance road is small and on a decline. The place also has lots of trees that you need to watch when you are driving.

Not a super pretty site but we love that it is really super close to the entrance of the military park and town.

The staffs made a mistake in charging us more than it should (confusion with the daily rate and good sam’s rate and the tour) but they quickly made the refund and credit it back to us.

Spent two nights here with my horse. My horse's stall was in the older row and was very roomy and safe. My horse could watch the activities of the campground. They also offer small paddocks instead of stalls. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as well as knowledgeable about the area and activities going on. We could ride right out to the battlefield from the campground. Although every site and stall appeared to be filled, it was very quiet and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone traveling with a horse.

Kids loved the pool, playground and mini-golf (which is free), bathrooms and showers were clean, staff very friendly. Great location, right down the street from the National Cemetery and several great restaurants and shops.
