Was here 30 years ago with my children. Wasn't sure it would live up to the memories. Returned in 2011 with 7 & 9 year old granddaughters - they absolutely loved it! Staff is really good with children - they help make the day very memorable. Our granddaughters would come back in an instant!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a kind review. We work very hard to make our park a place that everyone will enjoy.

We arrived at Gettysburg the day Hurricane Irene was hitting and had 2 hours before we could check in. We stopped here and had a great time. We didn't even have children with us! My husband actually loved the llama's!!! It was fun and you can tell they love their animals! They had a little "Carnival" show which was adorable. Gettysburg is a very interesting but kind of sad place to visit so this was a nice change of pace. For $5.00 you get a keepsake mug with feed so you can feed the animals. Overall a really good time!

The little one's enjoyed the animals and horses but the older kids weren't ompressed. It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be and it's definitely not an all day trip.

The Land of Little Horses is a great excuse to bring your kids to Gettysburg if nothing else. My wife and I had visited before we had kids and found it cute, but now that we have a toddler it was a veritable wonderland to fill most of the day.

The Land isn't large, but we spent hours with our 2-year-old just marching back and forth between the chickens, miniature horses, goats donkeys, and cows. She had a ball and didn't want to leave. There aren't really any exotic animals here, so don't go expecting that, but if you want some good old-fashioned barnyard fun for your son or daughter this is the place to go. There are no carnival-type rides here, and probably the age limit would be around 8-10 but you'll be gold in the eyes of any kid younger than that.

The arena show involves some dogs and miniature horses, and unfortunately the "ringmaster" spends a little too much time talking before bringing out each animal act but the kids eat up the horses dancing and running in circles. Again, an adult might not get much out of this show, but this is very much child-oriented so you have to go in with that mindset.

The only thing I would say I didn't like about the park is the tractor ride. You pay $1 each for the ride, and it lasts about 10 minutes just going thru an open field and then back down thru a forest with some cutout buildings. It couldn't hold my daughter's attention for even the 10 minutes, and the other kids on the wagon looked equally bored after a few minutes.

The Land is great for what it is, and I guarantee that we will have our daughter back over the next several years until she thinks she's too old for it.

My family has been visiting the Land of Little Horses for the past 7 years. For the past 6 years my children have attended their annual Kids in the Country Day Camp. The owners, Dawne and Brian have sooooo much pride of ownership in this magical place. The park is spotless, the animals are so healthy and very well cared for. The arena show is adorable. There are pony and hay rides. You can roam the park for hours enjoying the menagerie! Land of Little Horses is a MUST visit. You will LOVE it!
