I don't think there would be a pizza I wouldn't recommend. I got the plain jane, it was an unexpected surprise how flavorful it was.

This pizza was delicious. We got a plain Jane for the kids and one with Brussel sprouts. Huge hit. The kids loved the pizza museum and the ice cream next door was an added bonus.

If you want classic Philly pizza, then this place is not for you. They do artisanal, unique, and absolutely frickin' amazing pizzas here. Located in the up and coming funky part of town, Fishtown, these guys are becoming an icon. The shop has old school stuff pizza themed stuff everywhere (think Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). You can't go wrong ordering any of their pizzas (they do a few of their pizzas by the slice), but the BOB SHIELDSMOOSE (white pie, brisket, maytag bleu cheese brisket, garlic, horseradish, black pepper, mozzarella, rosemary) is the star of the menu in winter. Their pizzas do change seasonally and are always delicious! Afterward, pop next door for some ice cream at Little Baby's!

This is a fun place and just to set it out, the pizza is great. Slightly chew crust with a bit of char, and the toppings are interesting. The Leondard is a bit dull, but the Forbes is a great rendition of a classic. The joint is filled with fun and funky pizza memorabilia, down to the VHS tapes running on crummy old TVs. Every pie is a meal. It's a bit pricy, but worth it. Top it off with the ice cream at Little Baby's, next door.

Pizza Brain was a feast for the eyes and mouth. The whole restaurant is plastered in pizza memorabilia, from floor to ceiling. My eyes were constantly engaged and fascinated. The pizza itself smelled great upon walking in, and tasted even better. We got one with brussels sprouts on it, which was revolutionary to me. Definitely worth a lunch adventure!
