Love the stay, the hotel has the personality by itself. Architecturally old build up is converted with modern interior with so nice feeling. Rooms are clean and have warm roomy feeling. Love the letters on the window glass explaining the view outside. Enjoyed good service in Amuse brasserie. Michael is exceptional employee, who add extra value to Amuse.

This hotel was one of the cleanest hotels I ever stayed at. The decorum was very modern, The hallways were curved it was different then the straight up down hallways of ever other hotel I was ever at. The staff was great. Bonus the young ladies working look like they chose to work at a hotel rather then be models, they where all very beautiful. We are Spg members and were upgraded to the top floor. We asked for more billows and a refrigerator and they brought them up in minutes. The staff was great, could not have asked for anything more from them. the room was nice and clean. Has a over priced stock refrigerator and snacks (separate from the one they brought up at no charge). The inside from floor 5 and up is stone. The only down side is no amenities besides a average size fitness center. No pool no sauna... parking is $38 a night and takes a little while to get your car. I would recommend this hotel as long as you do not care about the amenities. When you first walk in there is a bar and that got a little crowed and loud not sure why they put in there did not care for that. They do have a restaurant and like all downtown philly restaurants a bit pricey.

In town with the family visiting the Van Gogh exibit.
Had a great stay, staff was friendly and the room was great.
Parking maybe a challenge since the Valet parking will take a while (20 + minutes) Call ahead to have the car waiting.

I recently stayed at the hotel twice in a two week period. Once for business and once for pleasure. I would definitely recommend above other SPG properties in the city. It's right in the heart of the city across the street from City Hall, all the museums, and a walk away from great walnut street shopping and amazing restaurants on Broad Street. The service people were all very accomodating. From desk staff, to valet, to bar staff all very helpful. The rooms are really spacious and have great evening views! It's very modern feel. The only complaint I would say is on the weekends when the hotel is filled they don't pick up room service trays. We saw trays lay around all weekend on our floor this past weekend. We even had someone deliver water to our room and walk right by the two trays laying in the hallway outside our room.

Room Tip: you want the side that faces city hall.
