Owner description: Set within a lively urban neighborhood, commanding a spectacular view of Fairmount Park, and just across the street from the main Museum building, the Perelman Building galleries and study centers showcase some of the Museum's most comprehensive, colorful, and cutting-edge collections. The new spaces offer a variety of other wonderful new amenities. Set up a bit like the Louvre, except easier to find your way around.
Best assortment of medieval swords and body armor I have ever seen.

Guess you can't visit Philly without stopping here. I like how easy it was to park and take photos, just wish the statue of Rocky was at the top of the stair like in the movie, but the new location is easier access, Didn't visit the museum that's probably why they moved the statue and not considering it art

if youve watched the movie rocky where sylverster stallone runs up the stairs while eye of the tiger is played in the background, this is it!

The museum was free when we visited it on April 2nd (voluntary donation). We liked the Middle ages and Asian exhibits.

I spent a week in Philly and left the Museum of Art until my second last day. A massive mistake!

This is a spectacular place in every way......the architecture, prominent setting in city, the displays, the art, the staff and the lovely cafe.

I should have spent two days here just to take it all in. One day was not enough.
