The interior is funky chic with unique (i.e. mismatching) tables, chairs and flatware. Not always the most comfortable therefore, but lots of fun and worth it. Service was slowish (they were mobbed), so we had more time to chat with friends. Oyster special only in the "bar" area (we didn't know). We tried many things and were happy with the food. Hands down favorite was the grilled octopus. We also liked the foie gras on seared tuna on a watermelon radish. The cauliflower cooked with anchovies was another favorite. We did get raw oysters, which are always our favorites. Fried oysters were also good - not too much breading, so we could easily taste the oyster. The poached salmon was good by itself. We didn't think the cheese cream sauce was the best thing for it, since it hid the taste of the salmon. It's open kitchen, so the cooking and smoking/fire smells come home with you on your clothes. Someone had the cooked tomatoes with burning rosemary on top. Interesting idea, but then the dining room smelled like a cabin in the woods the rest of the evening.
