Hotel older but decent. Better value than downtown yet still close to all. Very close to Penn University has nice college atmosphere when walking around Rooms are adequate, clean. Small bathroom. Again, avoid the in/house restaurant. Big plus having computer provided on room with free Internet access.

Spent three days here, rooms quite nice, luxurious linens. Good deal through Priceline, that’s probably why we got a room on the noisy street side directly across from the elevators. Easy walk to U Penn Medical Center and right around the corner from the Market St subway for quick trips to Center City. Computer in room kept advising to upgrade to a “modern browser” and would not support Facebook or You Tube (we only wanted innocent knitting videos). Front desk staff capable, but indifferent.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not on street side and away from the constantly dinging elevators.

In the heart of the University of Pennsylvania, this Sheraton is a bit oddly designed with a tiny lobby and hidden bank of elevators on the first floor, but upstairs it is a standard Sheraton. I was upgraded at check in to a nice Club Level room which was recently renovated in a tasteful if not very adventurous style. Bed was comfortable, nice large flat screen TV, well designed work area, free internet which was relatively speedy, and a computer in the room (?) which seemed like it was in desperate need of IT help but nice to have anyway. I spent precious few hours at the hotel, so can't comment on the food, business services, or workout facilities.

Easy access to UPenn campus makes this a no-brainer. Satisfied with a clean, comfortable stay. Not the fanciest place (hotel lobby is ho-hum), and I had difficulty getting the heating in my room to operate properly (hold down the temperature buttons, and you'll need to constantly jack up the temperature to get the unit to kick in instead of just blowing air). Internet access in room, even if you don't have a device, which is unique - had to shut off the monitor at night though because the light is bothersome).

Place was affordable, parking is on premises and $25 a night. Internet is free and there is a computer in each room. Starbucks coffee in the rooms and there is a Starbucks a minute from the hotel. The blue line is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There are a few cool little spots a block down from the hotel, I can't think of the exact name but is something like the dog cafe. Also there is a little convenience store across the street.
