We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience!
Drinks and food and the barmaid/waitress were very good.
It was their "in-between" season and counting us there was about 8 customers and they messed up our order...but the food was still good.

The food selection and quality were top notch. Large seating area and a bar area to watch the Olympics. On the bottom floor of the main Village Lodge building.

Wanted something a little different! Had to shuttle into the Village. Place was busy and we were told we would have a twenty five minute wait. We went into bar area and another couple gave us their table! Best seat in the house! Our server Ellie was excellent. First off the chicken noodle soup was delicious...not too salty and clearly a homemade soup! Being East Coasters Ellie was patient in explaining the barbecue choices. Their equivalent of brisket is Tri-Tip. Wow! It just melted in your mouth. I think the Peanut Slaw was the perfect complement to the Trip-Tip. Portion was huge! My partner had the burger another excellent choice!

We were in Mammoth for a week, and this was the best! Tri-tip skewers were delish, the sticky rib bowl ribs were well-done and chewy, which is the way I like them. The BBQ chips were exactly that, and crispy, not greasy.
So I did Happy Hour for dinner before my flight out, and couldn't be happier!
