“Consistent food - better than the other options”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

Not gourmet but consistent. Quirky but nice wait staff. Get the fried chicken, bolognese pasta, the curry chicken wrap and the turkey sandwich. All good choices. Oh! the the frozen prickle pear Margarita was a hit at the end of the day!

“Surprise!”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

This place is a real find --- food is fresh and tasty --- creative and original without the effort at subtle nuances that surround us in the Bay Area. It is also ample -- we hared almost everything.

“Large portions-Large bill-Good food”
Reviewed 9 April 2012

The menu offers a nice variety. The food was tasty and the portions were large. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. But it is pricey which should come as no surprise since it is a tourist location plut the very nature of the location. If you can overlook the prices, you'll find this to be a place to eat during your visit to Death Valley.

“Great breakfast spot”
Reviewed 9 April 2012

My friend and I ate breakfast here two days in a row. He had their hash plate and I had omelets. His first day the meal was pretty oily, so he requested less oil the second day and they obliged and he said it was even better. I got an omelet with ham and cheddar cheese one day and bacon and jack the second. The omelets were 3 eggs and very large. There was generous amounts of meat and cheese. Their "jack" cheese was actually a mixture of what was probably jack and cheddar, but was still good. I had wheat toast and the slices were huge. Very thick and over-sized, tasted great with Smucker's jam they provided. The only complaint I would mention was the amount of hash browns with my omelets didn't seem to be enough. Prices were fair, of course you are paying a premium for the location.
