We stayed at the Manhattan Club for Spring Break week 2012. There were 3 women and my 16 year old daughter.
We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite that had two bathrooms.
Having two bathrooms for 4 was great.
We are Hilton Grand Vacations Club owners and normally go to Hawaii for Spring Break but I am very happy with the choice of New York. The Manhattan Club was a beautiful place to stay. We did no have any issues with the timing of the elevators -Other reveiws have stated how slow or busy the elevators were---We did not have any problems with this. Our room was very clean and updated. We were on the 25th floor.
We had never been to New York---what a wonderful place to visit. At no time did we feel unsafe. We walked or took the subway to all of the places that we went.
I would recommend this place for anyone that was visiting New York.

My husband and I were visiting New York with my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The choice of hotels in NYC is utterly overwhelming, but we chose The Manhattan Club based on the price, the facilities and the Trip Advisor reviews.

The location is absolutely perfect for a sightseeing holiday. Located in upper midtown on West 56th and 7th Avenue, you're just a couple of minutes walk from Times Square and Central Park.

We arrived from JFK at 2pm, and were told that our rooms would not be ready until 4pm, which is the official check in time. This was a little disappointing as we were all a bit tired following the flight. However, we were directed to The Members Lounge, where there was complimentary tea, coffee and cookies for guests waiting for their rooms.

Once the rooms were ready, we were very happy with our upgrade to a Junior Suite. The rooms are all equipped with a small kitchen, with a fridge, microwave and tea / coffeemaker, cutlery and crockery. These suite hotels are ideal with the added benefit of a kitchen and sitting area on top of a standard hotel room with a bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and well decorated.

All the staff were helpful and polite.Check in and check out were quick and easy. The hotel offers timeshares, so you will get a call inviting you to a timeshare presentation. We declined, as we were not interested.

The hotel also has a very well equipped gym with modern equipment.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a base in New York, you won't be disappointed with The Manhattan Club.

My wife and I stayed at the Manhattan Club for a night over the summer of 2011. We had a family wedding in the city and knew we would be in no condition to drive home that night back to the burbs (25 Mins Away). We found the hotel to be extremely modern and well appointed. The rooms were beautifully appointed. We stayed in a 1 bedroom with a living room area. There were 2 flat screens in the room. The bedding and furniture was nicely updated in a traditional style. The bathroom was done in all marble with a huge tub. The bed was a 4 post high mattress that was very comfy. I slept like a baby. A drunk baby.

The one complaint that I did have was that upon check in there seemed to be a lot of confusion. There were many people waiting to get rooms including us. We waited about 1.5 hours to get our room. Through it all the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

I will usually take a paragraph to review some of the sights, activities and resteraunts in the area but this is NYC. There is way too much to do and see for me to try and do that this time. I have lived in the area for most of my life and have only seen about a sixteenth of what this city has to offer. My suggestion is to go on lonely planet and call someone you know that lives in the city to bring you around.

All in all it was a good stay at a nice place in midtown. I would recommend it to anyone who finds themselves looking for a good experience in the Big Apple.

We can’t thank you enough for your recommendation and gracious praise of our hotel and staff. Although infrequent, there are occasions when room check-in may be delayed and we greatly appreciated your patience during this time. As you said, this is New York and there is so much to see and do in the city from visiting museums and taking in a show to world class shopping on 5th Avenue. The Manhattan Club is fortunate to be close to so many of these major attractions; making it easy to see a lot in a short amount of time. The next occasion you find yourself in need of overnight accommodations in the Big Apple, we hope you will allow us the pleasure of welcoming you back to The Manhattan Club.

We stayed at the Manhattan Club March 7 - 10. We had a great time. The location could'nt be better!! We had a one bedroom 2 bath penthouse suite on the 28th floor. The unit was very clean, spacious, & nicely decorated. Not one complaint. If you have the opportunity rent a penthouse suite, its worth it!!! Our bed was so comfortable!!! Nice Bose stereo system in your suite, 2 plasma tvs, small kitchenette with all the essentials except there is no stove but who wants to cook when you can wak to all the fabulous restaurants. Parking is only $28/day which is'nt bad but you can't take your car out or you have to pay again. We used cabs to get around to places we could'nt walk to like a couple of the museums, etc.

Room Tip: On the 28th floor you could'nt even hear noise on the streets with the windows open. Very quiet. We had a corner end unit. U need a key to use the elevators that go to the penthouse suites, I felt very safe.
