My wife and I stayed at the Manhattan Club for a night over the summer of 2011. We had a family wedding in the city and knew we would be in no condition to drive home that night back to the burbs (25 Mins Away). We found the hotel to be extremely modern and well appointed. The rooms were beautifully appointed. We stayed in a 1 bedroom with a living room area. There were 2 flat screens in the room. The bedding and furniture was nicely updated in a traditional style. The bathroom was done in all marble with a huge tub. The bed was a 4 post high mattress that was very comfy. I slept like a baby. A drunk baby.

The one complaint that I did have was that upon check in there seemed to be a lot of confusion. There were many people waiting to get rooms including us. We waited about 1.5 hours to get our room. Through it all the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

I will usually take a paragraph to review some of the sights, activities and resteraunts in the area but this is NYC. There is way too much to do and see for me to try and do that this time. I have lived in the area for most of my life and have only seen about a sixteenth of what this city has to offer. My suggestion is to go on lonely planet and call someone you know that lives in the city to bring you around.

All in all it was a good stay at a nice place in midtown. I would recommend it to anyone who finds themselves looking for a good experience in the Big Apple.

We can’t thank you enough for your recommendation and gracious praise of our hotel and staff. Although infrequent, there are occasions when room check-in may be delayed and we greatly appreciated your patience during this time. As you said, this is New York and there is so much to see and do in the city from visiting museums and taking in a show to world class shopping on 5th Avenue. The Manhattan Club is fortunate to be close to so many of these major attractions; making it easy to see a lot in a short amount of time. The next occasion you find yourself in need of overnight accommodations in the Big Apple, we hope you will allow us the pleasure of welcoming you back to The Manhattan Club.

We stayed at the Manhattan Club March 7 - 10. We had a great time. The location could'nt be better!! We had a one bedroom 2 bath penthouse suite on the 28th floor. The unit was very clean, spacious, & nicely decorated. Not one complaint. If you have the opportunity rent a penthouse suite, its worth it!!! Our bed was so comfortable!!! Nice Bose stereo system in your suite, 2 plasma tvs, small kitchenette with all the essentials except there is no stove but who wants to cook when you can wak to all the fabulous restaurants. Parking is only $28/day which is'nt bad but you can't take your car out or you have to pay again. We used cabs to get around to places we could'nt walk to like a couple of the museums, etc.

Room Tip: On the 28th floor you could'nt even hear noise on the streets with the windows open. Very quiet. We had a corner end unit. U need a key to use the elevators that go to the penthouse suites, I felt very safe.

We stayed two week nights in March, 2012. The hotel staff was helpful in getting places and in making suggestions for things to do during a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the showers had plenty of warm water. We didn't use the microwave or sink, but it was night to have the refrigerator for keeping drinks cold. We were not too far from the elevator and were concerned that a constant bell ringing would keep us awake, but the bells were either disconnected or very quiet so it wasn't a sleeping problem at all. The location was great, right near Carnegie Hall (undergoing some renovation) and a short walk from most places we wanted to see. I would stay here again.

From the valets out front to the front desk, consierge and house keeping- an amazing team of people who are truly there to assist their guests and owners. Our first visit almost 2 years ago was so welcoming that we did purchase. We only bought at a very low level, and still have never regretted our decision. We often use our nights for a one-night stay, and believe it or not- each time we stop, people greet us by name. The rooms vary in size from an efficiency size to much suites with separate bedrooms- you choose your needs and desires. We're not in the room much since it is the BIG APPLE, and we have never been disappointed. Beds are comfortable, coffee, tea and popcorn are in the rooms with the extra sink and microwave. Bathrooms are nice. The accessible rooms are very large and truly wheelchair accessible, including the shower. Inside rooms have, obviously, less of a view, but if you are out to dinner and a show until after 11 or midnight or later- who really needs that! AT 56th you are in view of Carnegie Hall, 2 blocks from Central Park, 2 blocks from the New York City Center-worth checking out- and near many, many wonderful restaurants. We love having a "home in the city" where we are always welcomed with a smile and true respect.

Room Tip: Speak to the front desk if you have specific desires or needs- they will direct your selection.

Used my timeshare in NYC for the first time. Excited to have a full week in NYC, pre paid....first room was not renovated, had an old fold out couch. Bathroom had peeling paint, the old tub....not sure if it was mold, but around the tub looked icky. They brought us a cot to use until they could change our room the next day....had them waive my entire daily fee for the week it was so bad....second room, much better layout, and new couch. Renovated bath....after the room change, I was very happy. In the end, it was a great week!
