I was lucky enough to be with a group who decided to eat at Junior's as part of our NYC experience. We had seen our first ever play on Broadway and were hungry from all of that clapping and cheering we had done; then we saw Junior's. The outside of it looked inviting because it was different- the signs and decor made it stand out and seem a bit old-fashioned. We only waited for about 10 minutes for a seat for our large group. Our waiter was named Bru, and he was funny, personable and made the experience fun. Everyone in our group ordered something different so we could all try it- homemade chicken tenders with excellent breading and delicious honey mustard sauce, matzoh ball soup, Asian chicken salad, divine potato pancakes, a really juicy (and big) bacon cheeseburger, creamy mac & cheese in a huge bowl, and more. But, the best was yet to come, when we ordered the cheesecake- strawberry, devil's food, red velvet, plain and raspberry. Every mouthful was a smooth, creamy, delightful burst of flavor! It was all gone in a matter of minutes, and someone didn't get to try the red velvet- there was almost a fight. I thought that the prices were very reasonable and the serving portions larger than I could eat in one sitting. So everything - food, service, price, and ambiance created a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend Junior's!
