Mansfield is well-located more or less between Times Square and Grand Central Station - thus, easy access to east and west side trains. Rooms are quaint, quiet and clean. The bar is comfortable and the sitting room with the espresso machine was a great way to start the day. This was a great value delivered via Priceline ($150/night). I hope to stay there again sometime.
Their people just added to the experience. My colleague left a check and some other items in the Library one morning, and that evening we went to the front desk to ask if they'd been found. The Gentleman behind the desk said they had not, but he came into the library to help us look for them. No luck. The next morning, we discovered they had been turned in. A great inconvenience avoided. The hotel staff seemed to genuinely care about our experience.More
