Perfect location, very nice ambiance, not too big, which is very rare for a five star hotel in New York, nice hotel bar but.......
Why isn't there a separate shower in the bathroom? You have to shower in the bathtub with a shower curtain hanging before the bath. I found it very uncomfortable..
There is no coffee maker in the room. Because of time difference, I really like a cup of coffee, whenever I want. There is free coffee in the lobby, from about 6 am, but I think a 5 star hotel should have a coffee or tea maker in the room.
Also the breakfast in the restaurant was very poor and expensive. The buffet was small, there were at least 10 people waiting for the restaurant to open in the morning, so it was really hard for the waiters to keep the buffet stocked with bread, cheese, croissants etc.
It you want a good breakfast or a nice meal, go just around the corner to the right there is a very nice Italian breakfast restaurant!!More
