We just ate dinner here over the Memorial Day weekend.
It's a cozy restaurant good for couples,
Service is very attentive. We ordered from the $25 prix fixed menu
which featured a tricolored salad that had greens dressed in an
overpowering bitter dressing. Bread was crisp as if it was recycled and
reheated. We requested fresh bread and this was resolved.
Entree chioices on this option are limited. The lobster ravili was delicious
and filled with chunks of lobster. Veal Marsala was tasty and accompanied by potatoes
and vegetables. A cannoli and slice of tiramisu followed with coffee.
This place is a tasty find at a reasonable price with atmosphere.

My wife and I enjoyed everything about this cozy, romantic little restaurant from the time we checked the streetview menu until the last bite was bitten and the last drop was dropped. In fact, we visited Strada 57 three times during our brief stay in NYC(it was closed for the evening by the time we arrived one night). Just around the corner from where we stayed at the Hudson Hotel, we were near enough for lunch and late enough for a nitecap. We felt welcomed with each visit by Roman, the man in charge. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious, with a varied and up-to-date menu that would please anyone. Even though we don't plan on staying in the West Side our next trip, the staff, management, and menu will bring us back to Strada 57.

This smaller more intimate restaurant on 57th St was a real find. We ate there on a Friday night and enjoyed alive pianist, which was pleasant without dominating the whole atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly without too much fuss. The tables are set with white cloths and the they have a good wine list. The choices on the menu made it hard to decide what to choose but the food was excellent. When we ate there they had a cheaper 3 course set menu which contained dishes from the a la carte menu which was excellent value if you wanted to eat that many courses. It is a bit out of the main tourist area but it is definitely worth the extra walk.

Service - Excellent
Food - Very Good
Price - Reasonable
Location - short walk to Columbus Circle or Lincoln Center

Overall very good experience.

Only con - a bit small, so a two person table will sit very close to another two person table.
