We were going to stay at this place listed, but a few days before, Daniel from Furnished Habitat reached out and said it was no longer available. The previous renters had a party and the building no longer allowed him to rent it out. So, he upgraded us to a 3-bedroom on the upper west side. We were so grateful he had something for our family of five since it was so last minute. The location was great - right near a number of restaurants, a Whole Foods (which works for our family!) and Central Park. The apartment was big for New York, had very comfortable beds, great A/C and a small but nice kitchen. It was clean. However, we were surprised to see scrapes on the walls throughout the apartment and on the wood floors. The sofa didn't look super clean, although it could have been, but we wouldn't let the kids lay on it. The bathroom had no towel rack. There were no wash cloths. The shower water was hard to work with (either very hot or cold). It was sparsely furnished with no dresser or place to rest our suitcases in the master bedroom so we put them on the floor. That being said, we had a great vacation and appreciated Furnished Habitat (the company that owns this) accommodating us so last minute. While I wouldn't stay here again, my husband and kids would :) We all agree it was a good deal for the price.
Great apartment for my family of five! The location is awesome! Beds are comfortable and the place was nice and clean! Great people to rent from! Thank you! Don Antonio has the best pizza next door! Also Blue Dog across the street is good.
