Surprised to se a large queue trying to get a table but the wait list was so well and amusingly managed that everyone waited - and it was well worth the wait. Perfectly brewed tea, sumptuous and tasty scones in a wonderful setting. Afternoon tea looked splendid. A little gem which is worth going to find. Just loved it.

I am a scones and clotted cream addict, so when my friend suggested this place for dinner, I was in. Adorably themed Alice and Wonderland tea shop with probably 100 teas to choose from, ranging from chais to earl greys to herbal teas, and everything in between. I had an Indian chai, and it was creamy and spicy, just the way it should be.

Everything that I had here was good, but don't leave without grabbing a scone with fresh jam and clotted cream. You won't regret it. The scones are flaky and sweet, and pair great with the toppings. My friend ordered a vegan scone, so that option is available.

By the way, it might seem weird to go to a tea restaurant for dinner, but you can get a good, hearty meal in. They offer a variety of sandwiches that are full-size, proper sandwiches. Also seemed like a good choice for brunch or afternoon tea, although I didn't get a chance to try the menus for those meals.

I stopped by this AM while in NYC. Was not disappointed. Greeted warmly at the door. Beautiful ambiance. Awesome staff. The crowd that hangs out here are all nice people to be around. No creepy people here :) felt comfy and ordered the white champaign tea pot awesome taste awesome everything. Did not need to add sugar. And also ordered the smoked salmon egg Benedict. Perfect and the side of caramelized pear and asparagus made it just like a five star chef kind of egg Benedict. The music and lights created a warm ambiance just enough ! Room sound travel well. You don t have to feel like others are in your conversation or that you are in theirs. I liked this I recommend it. A great place to bring your teen daughters for high tea or a friend or just solo like I did today. Awesome!

We were looking for a quiet place after seeing Hamilton and Alice's was just the place. It is quiet and the staff super helpful with all the tea and beverage choices. We ended up with the world's best BLT - pumpernickel and blue cheese! - and buttermilk and choc chip scones that were fabulous. This place is a real treat and we will be back the next time we're in NY!

This is a little cafe that is usually packed to the brim! Be prepared to wait if you are coming on a weekend or at peak lunch times. They have a cookbook for sale so you can make their delicious scones at home and you can also purchase loose leaf tea or scones to go. The menu is pretty large with tea and scones to full meals as an options. The tea infused egg salad is one of my favorite. This is a great place to stop on the Upper West Side (UWS) if you are on your way to the MET or Natural History museum.
