We have dined at Daniel before and it has been perfect. This time, while it was very good, we did not leave feeling that it was as special as before. The atmosphere and service are excellent and could not be better. We had the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Some menu items were amazing but overall the food did not meet our expections. Maybe our exectations were too high based on previous experiences, but for the price paid it was a good meal and not great. The wine pairings were spot on as usual.
