I have been to this place couple of times with out of town families. we accidentally came across this place after having a great pizza at Lombardi. we were craving for something sweet and decided to check it out. It is from 1892, so we were just curious to see how is this place still in existence. You can either do a take out or sit down. we did sit down both the times, as it is just fun to sit, relax and have coffee and desert and the next thing you know, you have spent couple of hours having a good time talking. the coffee is the same, but their deserts are amazing. tiramisu is to die for. we are not big fans of cannoli but tried most of the cakes like double chocolate something....the cheesecake....and strawbery shot cake....you will not be disappointed. try to sit on the first floor if you can, especially along the window, so you get the view of the Little italy streets. it is somewhat pricey, but it is worth it.
