Chimichurri could have just as easily been located in the middle of Buenos Aires and you wouldn't even notice, such is the level of authenticity of this place. The venue itself is not necessarily special, although its combination of austerity and vintage warmth (a gold-framed turn-of-the-century mirror hangs from one of the walls, pictures and quintessential 'porteno' details add to the genuine vibe), but the service and food are where Chimichurri truly excels. The steak was really good, as was the provoleta, and of course the wine. The dulce de leche creme brulee was an unexpected hit! A must for those who lust after the perfect steak, and a delight for Argentinian cuisine lovers!
