This hotel is in the centre of New York - great for Times Square obviously, close to Fifth Avenue - Tiffanys, Saks, The Apple Store etc... Convenient for Central Park. Also close to Bryant Park, near the New York Public Library. Views of the Empire State Building.

Usual Hilton service, very friendly. Clean rooms. Breakfast OK (porridge fine, hot buffet should have been called tepid buffet, fresh fruit a plenty, good choice of juices, bagels cold and hard and nowhere to make toast or toast your bagels, good selection of cold meats and smoked salmon for your cold bagels...)

Not the best of Hiltons but not the worst.

Rooms were recently renovated, but the service was lousy at best! Had to wait for 15 minutes at bar before we were acknowledged by bartender because she was busy speaking with a tall darkskinned employee in grey. He looked at us as if we owed it to them to be there. None of the staff from check in to check out smiles except for the bellman who expected a tip for the mediocre service he provided. Managers were non existent to provide feedback to. Upon inquiring, found out that this is not a true Hilton hotel - its franchised to Sunstone - which then all made sense. This hotel does not meet the service standards I have experienced with other Hilton properties. Will not stay here again and would not recommend!

Just came back from a week-long reward stay at the Hilton Times Square.Everything in this hotel was perfect.Especially the room which completely overgone my expectations.Very big.Beds were extremely comfortable, and the chocolates and bottled water left in our room after turndown service was a very nice touch. The staff couldn't have been friendlier.Room was very quiet compared to the noise on the street.I couldn't have found a hotel with a more convenient location than this.Best choice for anyone.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Decor was functional. I was able to book this hotel with a corporate discount rate so the price was around $300/night.

Location wise, I would consider this hotel as one of the best in NYC. Easy access to subways and the NYC taxis.

Great front desk staff. One caveat - if you do need to check out and leave your bags with the concierge, they will charge you $10 a day per bag to hold it. Pricey but needed since my flight was later in the evening and I wanted to spend the day sightseeing unencumbered.

just returned from weekend in New York where we stayed at the Hilton, Times Square. stayed in a delux room on the 38th floor, room was large and clean and we had a good view of 42nd street.Room was quiet and well kept. everything i read on tripadvisor about this hotel is correct, Boy can they charge!!!!
this is a great base for a weekend in the Big Apple as you can not get a more central location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.
