We loved this hotel.

It is in great location, rooms are very spacious with very comfortable huge bed.
Staff are great, helpfull and always smiling.
We didn't care much for breakfast, but since it was complimentary there's no point complaining. We just skipped it...
We had a feeling we were in the center of the world in this hotel as it is in the middle of town, close to subway, Times square, right on Broadway...
It was a perfect starting point for exploring the city.

We took a last minute trip to NY the week of July 4th, which was also our first trip to NY. We weren't sure where to stay, but saw the excellent reviews for The Pearl Hotel and called to book a room and we’re so happy we did! We could not have found a better place to stay. The Pearl had great rates (very competitive for the area), free Wi-Fi for hotel guests (which is almost unheard of), a free (and delicious) continental breakfast (also a rare find in the area), Philosophy bath products, and clean, lush, roomy accommodations! We stayed in a queen room on the 14th floor, which had more than enough space as well as a view of the city. I read a lot of reviews for other hotels where people complained about hearing all the outside noise...not the case at The Pearl...once we were in our room the hustle and bustle of Times Square didn't exist. Another great thing about The Pearl is that it's within walking distance of everything! We walked anywhere and everywhere and did everything we wanted to do. A final kudos to The Pearl Hotel is that they have such a wonderful staff! We had to check out around 2 a.m. and Ali, Pedro, and Eddie could not have been more helpful (or fun to talk with). Every employee was kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and important. We truly believe if we would have stayed at one of the larger hotel chains we would not have enjoyed our trip as much as we did. Where you stay can make or break your entire trip...The Pearl made ours! You will be missing out if you stay anywhere but The Pearl Hotel.

We could not have been more pleased with this location. We had a lovely room on the 10th floor. The staff were super helpful and always pleasant to interact with. The room was comfortable and clean with all the amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable. A microwave and refrigerator were available if needed. Our 3 nights there were great. The location was perfect and was easily accessible to those of us that have never tried mastering the streets of New York. Bravo!!! Nice job everyone!!!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was quite nice, with two comfortable queen beds and a very nice bathroom. The furnishings appeared new and the bathroom was in excellent condition. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a fairly quiet street and we heard minimal noise from outside or inside the hotel. There is a complementary breakfast which is a bit minimal, but I believe this amenity is rare in NYC.
The location was very convenient...about a 5 minute walk to several of the metro stations serving key tourist destinations.
My very minor complaints were that the halls were dimly lit, and they could not keep up with the coffee demand in the mornings (ran out quickly and others complained that this was a common problem.)
I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family as a very nice hotel, conveniently located.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 5 th floor and it was quiet.

Just got back from our 3 night stay on the 5th floor and we loved it. We felt like the staff were friends and the room was so spacious for New York (we had two queens). The beds were comfortable and I wish I could have kept a pillow or two! They use Philosophy bath products which was a treat, too. We took advantage of the happy hour every day and had breakfast twice to get us started before brunches later in the morning. This was not a huge deal to us at all, but know that the lighting in the room and bathroom is pretty dim.

I would certainly go back and absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
