We were unexpectedly stuck in NYC for 2 nights and were dreading the cost of a hotel. We got a deal from price line under $200 per night including all taxes and surcharges.
This place was a real find. Very conveniently located on 40th st facing the port authority bus terminal. A short walk to times square.
The beauty of this hotel is its all inclusive price. A buffet breakfast with good variety served on real plates with steel flatware instead of the usual Styrofoam and plastic.
The rooms feature a kitchenette with all the tools to prepare or reheat your own food.
The rooms are a little small if you opt for one with 2 beds.
I'd be worried about noise from the window mounted A/C in the hot humid new York summers.
The hotel has a free laundry in the basement. You need to provide your own detergent.
The lobby staff and breakfast staff are all polite and helpful.
The hotel like most new York budget hotels gets a lot of use and you can see the wear in the otherwise clean rooms. The lighting is all LED and adequate but a bit dim.
The bathroom only has a shower stall and a little noisy exhaust fan.
I highly recommend this hotel.More
